Ethan had an endoscopy today. We were hoping the esophogitis might have gotten a little better. No dice. We have alleviated almost every allergen from his diet and stopped allergy shots. But there is no change. We will probably have to go back to Johns Hopkins for more tests. Oh joy.
On other fronts, we are scheduling his next surgery for the summer. They are going to put a valve on his belly button so he can inject saline instead of having the enema. I cannot tell you how much of a relief that will be for all involved. It is a four day stay, so vacation for this year is out. Oh well. DC is beautiful in the summer…only not.

Lucy is having that surgery next year in May. Man, they sound like their “issues” are so similar.
Never in my life have I been so excited about the stinkin’ Malone. Or is it the Mitroffanoff? It’s one of those M names and it will make life easier.
