The Hills Are Alive

So last night was my idea of a near perfect Friday Night.  Not that it was the greatest, but for what it was, it was perfect.

Ethan had his piano recital last night, so I knocked off work early.  When I got home, he was busy doing Jedi business with the kids in the neighborhood.  To my knowledge, none of them have turned to the dark side. J

At about 6, we headed off for the piano store (recital location).  Ethan did a great job.  All the other kids seemed nervous, but Ethan was cool as a cucumber.

Jenn had a reception for all the students.  We had to clean up, but we were out of there by 7:50.

Ethan got to pick the restaurant.  No big surprise there, IHOP.  We had a really cool waiter and the food was not half bad.

On the way home, Ethan fell asleep!  That almost never happens.  Then Jenn and I watched the season finally of Lost (those kooky survivors).  Spoiler alert: they see the Statue of Liberty and realize they have been on Earth the whole time, go figure.  OK, maybe not.

I read for an hour and then fell asleep.

Not a bad night…not bad at all.
