I am confused!!!
I am the lead test engineer on a couple of projects at work. The one currently in focus is going to employ a team of 3 testers for a year. My budget is $343,650 for the whole enchilada (salaries, benefits and overhead). Before I am allowed to spend any money, I have to write a detailed test plan outlining how I will spend every dime. Currently my Test Plan (proposal) is 20 pages long.
Now this is fuzzy math, but I have to give roughly a page of explanation for every $1718 I spend.
Now Secretary Paulson’s proposal to spend 700 billion was three pages long. By my count, he has 407,450,520 pages to go. Lol…Ok Ok, it is fuzzy math. But three pages??? Give me a break. This is not a monarchy.
